Scientists believe that reading the text font Verdana straining at least eye muscles. This protects against myopia and computer vision syndrome occurring in people who spend a long time in front of the monitor.

Verdana font was developed in 1996 by Matthew Carter. The letters have a greater width, which makes Verdana suitable for reading and smaller surfaces.
